Did Katja ever play?

I had lunch with Katja today and I slipped her a couple 10 day trial codes. She said she'll probably try it out sometime next week. Be on the lookout for a Gothsicle. ;)

I found www.wowrealmstatus.net today when I was unable to view the realm status on the regular WoW site and nothing was popping up on the login screen. All the US servers were down, I guess for weekly maintenance. They also have nifty buttons like this:

Wrath of the Lich King is due to release 11/14/08. The cinematic trailer (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/intro.xml) didn't entice me as much as the gameplay trailer (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/movies.xml#). Sure there will the chance to level to 80, shiny new dungeons to raid, a new land to explore, a new class, a new profession, blah blah. But apparently, there will be damageable buildings, changeable hairstyles, new dances, and a new Wilford Brimley non-playable race (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/features/factions/tuskarr.xml). That's what I'm most excited about...the non-typical new expansion stuff.

My enchanting is up to 275 now. Thanks to everyone who sent me stuff to disenchant. It helped cut down the costs of purchasing materials to skill up. I'll need to work a little more on it but I can disenchant most things now.

For now, I'm OK with my enchants. I will provide a post with things, though....

I just want to ask people to research any enchants that they want and let me know. If its a drop I'll work to get it. If it requires running a dungeon then we can do that too. I don't know what people are looking for, but if they tell me I can try to get it.

I have an idea, we should list our desired questing instances. That way, we can figure out what other people want to run.

Mine are:
--ANYTHING Heroic (I can progress in gear with heroic badges)
--Karazhan (10 person raid)
--Zul'Aman (10-person, eventually)
--Anything Tempest Keep
--The upcoming Magisters' Terrace
--Anything Thrallmar / Scryer rep-related.

As it stands now, Scuzbutt is definitely considered to be at Tier 4 gear (through equivalent PVP gear). A couple of upgrades could put him to Tier 5.

I've been through Kara a couple times on my lock now and I know Gamboka has on his other toons. Between the two of us we could prolly guide it pretty well.

Please add Vanessa (Eibhlinn) and me (Darthan) to the guild roster.

Vans loves her warlock.

Kara groups sound kind of neat. After spending the last two months in heavy PVP, Scuzbutt is nearly maxed to the gills in terms of additional healing power and fast mana regen. Most of the gear he is equipped with is considered (equivalent to) Tier 4 or 5 gear. My unbuffed +heal is over 1250 hp, if I remember correctly. His rings suck, those can be worked on.

At this point, it's up to group tactics in terms of Kara survivability. The gear will come and mobs shall quiver in our wake.

Justin, the two (or more) of us probably study some YouTube videos and wowwiki to see what is required.

Oh, and I see that Industria has the Kara Key quest. If we can everyone keyed I bet we could get a kara group in a while. Just as food for thought I see the group looking something like this:

Tanks X2, possibilities:
Muklok
Honado
Myo (no Sathal)

Heals X2
Scuzbutt
Gamboka
Stagnes (no Mhael)

DPS that can heal if/when needed X1, possiblities:
Mhael (with no Stagnes)
Aelius
Honado
Lololola (hurry up dude)

DPS X5, possiblities:
Dievia
Industria
Stallionite
Baalmoore
Kargin
Alfias
Sathal (with no Myo)
Mhael
Honado
Aelius
Lololoa

I included soom toons in more that one place cause they have multiple capabilities

Dang, sorry about the no wow scuz.

I see a lot of Instance quests on your lists that I'm sure I'll be doing in the near future. I'm level 68 atm. When I hit 70 in a week or 2 I'll move on to tempest keep stuff, steamvaults, shattered halls, but for right now...

When ever I'm on I would be happy to tank any of the following instances with Myo.
Crypts
mana tombs
sethekk halls
shadow labs
durnholde keep
black morass

If you have any jewelcrafting needs just mail a request to sathal. Thanks to everyone for sending all the gems. My skill is in the 360s now and I have a few rare gems I can make.

Myo is getting up there with enchanting too (340s). If anyone has any nightmare vine to spare I can get an easy 5 more skill points making wizard oil.

Actually, you can report new employees simply by loading and existing character sheet, changing the name, and saving.

OK, I found an excellent gear website for druids of all talent builds. This will be useful for our dungeon runs. The best part is some of the epic/rare items drop in dungeons we are certainly capable of taking on.
